Originally from St. Louis, MO, Ashley moved to Nashville, TN in 2004 to attend Belmont University, where she studied graphic design. She immediately fell in love with the city’s Southern charm. During her college years, she studied abroad in Sydney, Australia, backpacking along the stunning east coast, exploring the cultural heart of Uluru and enjoying a memorable holiday in New Zealand. She also spent a magical summer soaking in the sun, snorkeling and sailing (okay… and interning for a graphic design firm) in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands.
Her senior year, Ashley met Dustin. The two quickly fell for each other and were married in 2012. Today, they call Franklin, Tennessee home, where they’re raising their two adventurous children, Kenzie and Cole, along with their loyal dog, Jax.
As a family, the Hendels share a passion for travel, frequenting the beaches of Mexico and the Caribbean for restful escapes and, most recently, discovering the joy and wonder of Disney cruises. Travel has become their favorite way to create lasting memories, embrace new cultures and experience life together.
Drawing from years of personal travel, as a couple, a parent and someone who’s lived abroad, Ashley understands the unique needs of every type of traveler. Whether it’s a global city-to-city adventure, a romantic escape filled with connection, a culinary journey or a family vacation that balances excitement for kids with relaxation for parents, she curates enriching, effortless getaways tailored just for you.
Ashley is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) through Meeting Planners International (MPI), a global professional designation awarded by the Events Industry Council (EIC). She also holds a Meeting and Event Planning Certification from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Fun Fact: Ashley is a certified PADI scuba diver and has explored the waters of both the Caribbean and the Great Barrier Reef.
